The topic is locked, just like Join The Social Music Network!, because they are pages for newcomers, and it’s useful that they get the message simple and clear.
Here is the topic to discuss What we offer. Feedback welcome, as always.

Only one nitpick stands out in the current text:
You can change the frequency.
might better become something like:
From your user preferences page, you can change how often you receive the newsletter, or disable it altogether.
Not making this explicit can cause an user accustomed to centralized platforms with abusive T&Cs to suspect a dark pattern there, even though there actually isn’t one: “does omitting ‘you can disable it’ mean signing up subscribes me to a non-revokable newsletter or something?”
But yeah, it’s a nit.
OTOH, my fundamental objection to the text in the current form is that it’s not immediately obvious from it what we offer… Because we don’t really know yet!
My rationale for this, and associated proposal for a user-retention strategy based on offering users the chance to participate in a space which does not preemptively defend itself from its users – is elaborated on in the context of a specific example (namely: “how should drive-by self-promotion be treated”) over here:
Was actually thinking the same as @unspeaker — first thing I do on any Discourse forum is disable all the email “digest” notifications lol … some of us are weird email-haters like that. I prefer to browse on the site deffo, and maybe if others are as email-phobic as me they’d want to know you can turn it off
Ok, sentence clarified accordingly:
I have added the section for projects, and with this the first draft is completed. Please review!
I have updated What we offer to link to Self-promotion in The Social Music Network, remove the points about Members, and polish a few sentences.
If someone wants to create a topic to discuss ideas about the Members category, great. Otherwise, I’ll get at it in a couple of days or so.
I have updated the What we offer and about self-promotion pages to reflect the the reshaped Members category.
