OH, very sorry. Thanks for pointing out my silliness. I thought I’d updated the link after I made my introduction, but I had not. I acquired a custom domain, which is stevenraysound.com. Please try that if you’re still interested. I’ve now updated my profile here with the correct url.

Fitful Voices Of The Cosmogonic Undead is :fire: !

(i did have to do some right-clickery to get that link, your current iframe setup does break linking a bit fwiw)

Could you be more specific? It has been working fine for me. Thanks.

Sure thing! Once you click “Faircamp”, the Faircamp pages are opened in an iframe, while the URL stays just https://stevenraysound.com/#faircamp as you browse. So, to get a shareable link to the release, I had to:

(They haven’t even given us “copy frame URL” you see… but that’s no reason to complain since Chrome doesn’t even have that much in the way of frame-jacking. So Chrome users would be completely unable to get URLs to your Faircamp pages)

Ah. Well, I’m not displaying the share link for that reason.

I also checked out Fitful Voices. Is there a reason why its only 16 bit 44.1 kHz? I release most of the music I do as 24bit 48kHz.

Well, I can tell you the formats I enabled for the Faircamp releases were mp3 and Opus. The latter is 128kbps. Did you try that, or is that something you can’t use on your end?

I went with Bandcamp because I can have a library of stuff I listen to all in one place that I don’t have to downlowd to the seven devices I have. Would prefer a place on the fediverse where I could build a library of songs to listen to that would link all the options for music sharing on the fediverse. There’s at least half a dozen platforms, and Faircamp allows hundreds of instances, almost all of which only have one artist on them.

Yep, I totally get that. 99% of my music acquisitions come from BC and most of the streaming I do comes from that library or my wishlist.

I dunno how a federated music library as you describe it would work, but it’d be a marvelous thing.

Also, I see you have a Sub37. I’ve long wanted one of those gizmos.

Yeah, i got it shortly before Moog replaced it with the Subsequent 37. Supposedly, one upgrade was an improved set of oscillators. Tho I like mine just fine.
