Request for a subcategory to host the Selecteh project

Hi! You may have seen A music selection idea welcomes your feedback aka Selecteh. Well, the project is happening even if at this point almost everything is a question mark.

I need to find a place to discuss its development with whoever wants to be involved. Part transparency, part openness and community (even if it is me alone). :wink: We are discussing the relationship between this project and LaInstrumental.org (makers of Projects > Fairplayer and more) but in any case their forum is mostly in Catalan/Spanish and a project corner in English feels quite out of place there.

TSMN could be a candidate to host this project, under Projects. However, until now TSMN has been a meeting place for projects existing somewhere else, not a host or incubator of projects “born” here.

So I dunno, what do you think? Is it ok to offer a space for the Selecteh project and, by entension, to anyone else willing to incubate/host their project here? (as long as it is related to TSMN’s scope, of course)

Actually, thinking this better, all I need is what everyone else gets: a “Selecteh” space under Projects that aggregates whatever comes via RSS from https://selecteh.org/rss/

My 2cents;

Definitely! Your project is definitely aligned with TSMN goals, and you’ve described it in enough detail in that initial thread to make it clear this is a happening thing. If you’re committed enough to take on the admin of hosting a subforum, I’d say TSMN is a good place to do it.

As for other new projects, I think that’s a case by case thing.

Very good, I will create the category later today. If all goes well, the first monthly Electre Selecteh will be published today (tonight for me).
