Questions about wiki topics in TSMN

wiki posts look like a good tool! but can anyone start those or is moderator intervention necessary?

This can be set at a category level. For instance, in Help new topics are wiki by default.

the for-everyone default or the per-topic optionality can be set? or both?

the case i have at hand, for example in projects category, 🔨 the orkshop i’d like to update the topic post with the latest state of the tools that i’m building, beyond the inital edit window. could i have started that as a wiki post?

at the same time i wouldn’t want people uninvolved with the development to edit it, though they’re welcome to propose fixes. so is permissioned wiki posts a thing?

Moderators and admins can set wiki by default for an entire category.

Regular members can wikify their own posts. I believe they can also dewikify them.

Moderators and admins can wikify and dewikify specific posts anywhere.

The wiki features are simple versioning and reverts. There are no per-wiki-post permissions.
