Podkast one

It hasn't been easy to handpick music from Electre Selecteh 1 and squeeze it in one hour. Enjoy!

I'd love to hear your feedback. You can comment below or on the Fediverse. You can send me audios with comments or questions, and I might bring them to the next podkast. 🎤🎧

There is also a version in Spanish (same music, different commentary).

You can subscribe to this podkast via RSS.

Congratulations! I’ve added to this AntennaPod using the RSS feed, and I’ll have a listen ASAP. FYI I was unable to find it using AntennaPod’s internal search. I tried using ‘Podkast One’, ‘Electre’ and ‘Selecteh’ as keywords. Not just what needs to be done to sort that out, but just squeaky wheeling

A cool thing I’ve noticed recently is podcasts feeds that aggregates episodes from other podcasts that are thematically or organisationally related. As an example, RNZ, our public media org, has an podcast feed that aggregates all the politics-related podcasts they publish.

It would be really cool to do this for Selecteh! It’s a medium-to-long term goal, of course, because it depends on there being more selecteh curators, and a number of them doing podcasts. But there could be a global feed for episodes from all Selecteh podcasts, for people who want to the serendipity of new music from a range of genres.

In theory, there could also be meta-feeds grouped by genre, geography. Maybe it would be worth having a chat to the folks from CastoPod about this? Because with the right protocol plumbing, these thematic meta-feeds could also be federated, so they can include podcasts hosted on different services.

The possibilities are endless!

Ah yes, thank you for the reminder. I have just added it to https://podcastindex.org and https://fyyd.de/. I also use AntennaPod and I will check again tomorrow.

About the rest of your suggestions… I’m just relieved my first podkast ever went well and now I’m getting ready to produce the second one. Beyond that, no idea.

Testing with AntennaPod’s search, and both the English and Spanish version appear now. :tada:
