Apologies if I missed it in settings - the keyboard shortcuts for this forum conflict with my (very Vim-y) use of websites. Is it possible to disable / amend them?
Appreciate this is a small and unimportant thing in my use-case but I’m imagining that it’s potentially an access problem for visually impaired people or other less-traditional users of the website.
Hi! Hmmm… I don’t know whether the keyboard shortcuts can be disabled or amended. I’m not seeing any setting in the admin interface. I searched (casually) on the Discourse forum and only found one topic discussing these shortcuts: ⌨️ Do you use keyboard shortcuts? - General - Discourse Meta.
Is a specific combination of keys what is bothering you or is it something more general?
At the moment, it’s ctrl+k (I use to navigate between workspaces) - which brings up a filter on the forum. It’s not a big problem but it’s a wee bugbear of mine when sites interfere with shortcuts I’ve set. If you come across something in config, great - if not I can live with it.
