Hey all, we're going to be posting technical updates to what we've been up to on our blog as well. Here's what's new in the past few weeks:
- We've added tags to albums! If you're an artist and want to to take it for a spin, you can edit it on your album editing page. Let us know if you encounter any hiccups! Once enough albums have been tagged we'll also make it so that you can browse by tag.
- Artists can now upload emails to your follower list, which means that you can use Mirlo as a (very basic) mailing list provider.
- Fixed a situation where if you signed up but walked away you were stuck in a loop between passwords not working and your account not being found
- We've made an improvement to the Support an Artist flow, so that it looks nicer and a bit more all in one spot.
- We had a lot of small fixes due to all the feedback we've received since the previous announcement. Thanks all for letting us know what your experience is!
- We did a major rewrite of how we process audio, which means that it should now be much faster for your songs to be processed, and also take up less space until someone downloads your music. Let us know if you experience any issues with music uploading.
- UI improvements as per usual
- In the background we've been working a bit on our admin dashboard, which will hopefully be useful for self-installing Mirlo, as well as just getting a good oversight idea of where things are at, and doing basic trouble shooting
