I wonder if anyone has thoughts on:
Breaking out of our bubbles.
It’s lovely to strengthen the community we already have, hanging out on Fedi. But on the discoverability topic, how can we expand beyond the networks we already have?
Some very DIY starting points:
- cross-promotion with artists who have similar vibes and sounds
- making radio programs that are interesting DJ mixes: artistic statements. Trying to air them on our local community or independent radio stations (as well as online or specifically Fedi livestream/radio projects)
- In-person events: casual gigs, happenings or installations that are also live-streamed, and bringing the live audience in on the craic/interaction that’s happening on stream chat
