Bandcrash (software)

Bandcrash is an app I wrote a few years ago to make it easier to encode and distribute music in various places, flexibly. It started out as a one-and-done way of using itch.io as a music store, but it’s expanded in scope somewhat and is super useful for a lot of things now.

I recently wrote a lengthy blog post about some of the ways I use it, and I’m always figuring out more.

Conceptually it’s similar to Faircamp, but just does the encoding and player building part, and then leaves it up to you what to do with the rest of it (and lets you work on things an album at a time).
